I want to set up WhatsApp
Connect your own Meta WhatsApp Business. We don’t mark up Meta’s fees.
What you need
A Facebook account, a phone number that isn’t already in use on a personal WhatsApp account, and ten minutes. That’s it.
The flow
Sign in to Benchworks. Settings → WhatsApp → Connect. We open Meta’s embedded sign-up window. You pick your business and the phone number, agree to Meta’s terms, and Meta sends us a token. We store it encrypted, per-tenant.
Who pays Meta
You do, directly. We don’t add 20% on top of Meta’s fees the way most platforms do. The catch: you’ll need to add a payment method in Meta Business Manager. Meta only bills you for "conversation" messages — service messages and chat replies are free.
If the connection breaks
WhatsApp tokens can expire if Meta detects fraud or if you change your business name. We surface the disconnection on Settings → WhatsApp. Reconnecting is the same flow — Meta remembers you the second time.
